Campus Beautification

This is just a reminder that the annual campus beautification effort will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. This is a holiday so it should not be in the way of school. In order to participate, you must be a member of a participating organization, and your organization must already have a plan of what to do. Your advisor must also attend.- S. Pang

Fall Food Drive

It's that time of year again! Moanalua has always been generous with food donations, and with the poor economy, even more people will be looking for assistance. You can do your share by bring canned foods, dry noodles or bags of rice to your homeroom between now and November 20. Also, monetary donations are accepted. Every fifty-cents will count as one item. Remember, you will be helping others less fortunate and, this is also a class competition! Bring your food donations to the back entrance of the library by the end of CAP on November 20. Pick-up will be right after CAP that day, so you MUST deliver donations before then.- S. Pang

PLEASE SUPPORT THE PETITION DRIVE BY THE ANIMAL RIGHTS CLUB

Starting today and continuing until we get enough signatures, students and teachers will be asked to sign their name to a petition that will stop the dissection of fetal pigs and frogs in science classes at Moanalua High School. Members of the Animal Rights Club will be having a Petition Drive starting today and will be asking students and teachers to support the petition by adding their signature. The Animal Rights Club believes it is unnecessary to require the dissection of animals in science classes because there are computer programs available that can teach students the same things.- S. CAMOGA Wrestling

The CAMOGA Wrestling season has begun! If you want to be a part of the most grueling, yet most rewarding sport in high school, come out and join the wrestling team. If you can not throw, catch, or kick a ball, then wrestling is the sport for you! All you need is your athletic clearance, workout clothes, and wrestling shoes. Practices are in the gym starting at 4:00pm. See Coach Eddy in H102 for more info. Remember, "Once you've wrestled, everything else in life is easy." - E. Gudoy
