State Student Conference
Want to make a difference for your fellow students?  Then be a delegate for the 2014 State Student Conference!  Delegates help discuss student issues which then could move on to resolutions and ultimately actual bills to the State legislature to become law.  Moanalua has only 5 more delegate spots remaining, first-come, first-served.  You must have at least a 2.0 GPA with no failing classes.  It is open to all grade levels.  You must be available on pre-conference day, Saturday, February 22, from 8:30 until 3:00 with lunch provided.  Moanalua High School will be the host site.   Then, you must also attend the actual conference itself at the State Capitol on Wednesday, March 19, from 7:30 until 3:00, during Spring Break.  Lunch will also be provided for that.  If you are interested, see Mr. Pang in the SA Room for an application!- S. S.A. Senate Meeting
An S.A. Senate Meeting will be held today during lunch in the Library.  Senators, you should already have your Senate pass in your possession from your Homeroom/CAP class to be able to take lunch out of the cafeteria.  The meeting will start promptly--10 minutes after the second lunch bell.  - S. Science Club Attention Science Club members!  Our plans are being finalized for our Spring Break trip to Maui.  We will be staying at the Hawaii Nature Center, and will be visiting the Maui Ocean Center, Haleakala, the Kealia Ponds bird sanctuary, and will be doing service work for the Nu'u Wetlands restoration project.  If you are interested in attending, or have further questions, see Mr. Yoshioka in M-104 as soon as possible.  If you missed our last meeting, you may also pick-up permission forms for our Makap'u tidepools hike in February.- E. Varsity Baseball Try-outs
Try-outs will be on Monday, January 27th @ 3:30 on the baseball field.  Please make sure you have your pink slip, baseball attire, glove, bat, cleats, and running shoes.  - S. Yamada
