2013 Winter Fantasy Announcement
This year's Winter Fantasy will be held on Thursday, December 19 at the Pacific Beach Hotel. The theme will be "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Bid forms are available for pick up in L-201 and in the SA room during non-instructional hours. Bid sale dates on November 5, 6, and 7 during lunch in the SA room, after the second lunch bell. Lining up before the second lunch bell rings results in requiring to pay on the last day of bid sales, if there are any bids available. Prices per bid will be $49 for November 5, $55 for November 6, and $55 for November 7. You must have a completed bid sale form and have all you and your date's obligations cleared in order to purchase a bid. We will only be selling 450 bids this year so it's first come first serve. If there are any questions ask Mrs. Mizue in L-201.- L. Mizue

Campus Beautification
This is just a reminder that the annual campus beautification effort will take place on Monday, November 11, 2013. This is a holiday so it should not be in the way of school. In order to participate, you must be a member of a participating organization, and your organization must already have a plan of what to do. Your advisor must also attend.- S. Pang

Candidate Posters and Flyers
This is just a reminder to all students who are running for some sort of court or office. Your campaign flyers and posters must be taken down within a week of the election, regardless of whether you won or lost. Teachers and staff are being asked to report violations to Mr. Pang which may result in disqualification or a ban on future campaigning for violating the posting rules.- S. Pang

Lost and Found Items
Lost your folder, jacket, shoes, etc? Check the Administration Office Lost and Found and the office staff will assist you. At the end of December, any unclaimed property will be donated to charity.- G. Oshiro

Tutoring Program
The tutoring service is back! Tutors can earn service hours for tutoring, and students who need help can benefit from the extra instruction! If you want to be a tutor, or you need extra help from a tutor, come to the library Tutoring Corner and fill out the appropriate form once tutors are available.- S. Pang

Cap & Gown Orders
Hey Seniors!!! Just a friendly reminder that Mr. Goo, from the Balfour company, will be here on campus Friday, November 1st, during lunch at mene square. He will be collecting any remaining cap and gown order forms. If you need an extra form, please stop by Mr. Yoshizawa's room in H-102.- C. Yoshizawa

Hey Seniors! Do you want to help make your senior prom memorable? If so, come to a general meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 5 minutes after the second lunch bell in I-201. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Arakawa.- C. Yoshizawa

Creative Writing Club
Hone your writing skills, enter competitions, and unleash your creativity by joining the Creative Writing Club. The first meeting is November 1st, Friday, during tutorial in R201.- C. Hosokawa

Boys Soccer

Anyone interested in joining wrestling? Tryouts will begin on Monday, November 4 at 3:30pm in the gym wrestling room. You will need a copy of your pink clearance slip in order to participate.- J. Kawachi
