Fall Food Drive
It's that time of year again! Moanalua has always been generous with food donations, and with the poor economy, even more people will be looking for assistance. You can do your share by bring canned foods, dry noodles or bags of rice to your homeroom between now and November 14. Also, monetary donations are accepted. Every fifty-cents will count as one item. Remember, you will be helping others less fortunate and, this is also a class competition! Bring your food donations to the back entrance of the library by the end of CAP on November 14. Pick-up will be right after CAP that day, so you MUST deliver donations before then.- S. Pang

PSAT
The PSAT will be given on Saturday, October 19, from 8:00-12:00 noon, here at Moanalua. The cost to take the test is $20.00. for juniors who are eligible for free or reduced priced meals may receive a fee waiver. With this waiver, the cost of the test is $3.00. Please bring your eligibility letter with you. Please see Mrs. Nitta in the College and Career Center to make your payment. Checks can be made payable to Moanalua High School. Hurry, space is limited!!- S. Faildo-Lee

Snack Bar Food Service
Effective October 15, all lunches in the Student Center Snack Bar will be sold for $2.50. Each meal will come with milk and fruit. There will be NO ala carte meals sold at $1.85 here. Also sold here will be cookies, if available. Two windows in the Cafeteria Snack Bar will sell lunches for $2.50, which comes with milk and fruit. The third window in this Snack Bar (facing P-11A) will be selling only "Ala Carte" meals in bento boxes for $1.85. This meal does not come with milk and fruit, and anyone making purchases at this window MUST have money in their account. Please look for the signs at each window. - C. Lopes

Registration for next year is here! What’s up Doc? Are you interested in the Health care field? Sign up for Health Core Services class. If you are interested the Food Industry; sign up for PHS Core. Is Fashion your passion? Sign up for ACC in Fashion design class.  If you will be a Senior, interested in being healthy and want to learn to cook sign up for “ Health and Nutrition”. All of these course DO NOT need a  teacher’s signature, just write it on your card. Come to F201 or F202 if you have questions.- F. JV Baseball Try-outs
JV Baseball try-outs will begin on Monday, October 28th @ 3:30 on the baseball field. Please have your glove, bat, baseball attire, jacket, cleats, and running shoes. - S. Yamada
